Chandmari Higher Secondary School Kohima (In the beginning – Tiny Tots English School/ Chandmari English School/ Chandmari High School); now re-named to Chandmari Higher Secondary School, was established in the year 1974. The school is situated in Lower PWD Colony below Lotha Church, Kohima. The school since its establishment in the year 1974 has stood the test of time and maintained its illustrious legacy with an impeccable academic and extracurricular record. The school offers different clubs like NCC (Girls), Scouts & Guides, Legal Literacy Club, Electoral Literacy club, Art & Craft Club, Sports Club, Cultural Club, Science club, Literary Club, P.E. club where the students can enrol to build their skills based on their interest. The school has been a centre for HSLC/ HSSLC Examination under NBSE since 2011 after upgrading the School to Higher Secondary, its name has been changed from Chandmari High School to Chandmari Higher Secondary School, Kohima w.e.f the academic year 2000. At present, the school has 1000 students and 64 Teaching and Non-Teaching staffs.

Today it is a 50-year-old school, with one of the best teaching faculty in Nagaland.
